Introduction
These Terms & Conditions apply to all treatments, bookings and services provided by Julie Bain Clinical Tattooing. By booking an appointment or using our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Appointments & Booking
All appointments must be booked in advance through our online booking system or by direct contact.
A 50% deposit is required to secure your appointment. Appointments are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
We reserve the right to refuse treatment at our discretion.
Deposits
Deposits are non-refundable.
Deposits may be transferred to a new appointment if sufficient notice is given, in line with our cancellation policy.
Failure to attend your appointment or provide adequate notice may result in loss of your deposit.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Cancellations within 48 hours may result in loss of deposit
Failure to attend (no-show) will result in loss of deposit
Repeated cancellations may require full payment in advance
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late for your appointment, your treatment time may be reduced.
If you are significantly late, we may need to reschedule your appointment and your deposit may be lost.
Payments
The remaining balance for your treatment is due at your appointment.
Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We may accept other payment methods at our discretion.
Payment Plans (Klarna)
We offer payment options through Klarna. Klarna is a third-party provider, and all payment agreements are subject to their terms and approval process.
Julie Bain Clinical Tattooing is not responsible for any agreements made with Klarna.
Treatment Suitability
All treatments are subject to consultation. We reserve the right to refuse treatment if we believe it is not suitable or safe.
You must provide accurate medical and personal information during your consultation.
Failure to disclose relevant medical information may affect your treatment and results.
Medical Conditions
If you have any medical conditions, or are undergoing medical treatment, you must inform us prior to your appointment. Treatments are not performed during pregnancy or while breastfeeding due to hormonal changes that may affect healing and pigment retention. These treatments are also not suitable for clients taking Warfarin or other blood-thinning medications, as this can increase bleeding and interfere with the procedure and healing process.
In some cases, medical clearance from a healthcare professional may be required before treatment can proceed.
Results & Expectations
Results will vary depending on individual factors, including skin type, lifestyle and aftercare.
While we aim to achieve the best possible results, outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Multiple sessions may be required to achieve the desired result.
Aftercare
You will be provided with aftercare instructions following your treatment.
Failure to follow aftercare advice may affect your results. We are not responsible for outcomes where aftercare has not been followed.
Patch Testing
A patch test may be required prior to treatment. It is your responsibility to ensure this is completed where advised.
Liability
Julie Bain Clinical Tattooing will not be held responsible for any adverse reactions where:
- Medical conditions have not been disclosed
- Aftercare instructions have not been followed
- Treatments have been undertaken against advice
Personal Belongings
We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings during your visit.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
